I don't think I read this particular one when I was young, but I enjoyed it even as an adult. ' I read this book in about an hour, maybe more. They are realistic, funny, and memorable. ' I love every book ever written by Beverly Cleary, and especially the Ramona stories. ' Ramona and Her Father is a more tightly-written book, but Ramona and Her Mother earns five stars for making me tear up at the end. ' Started in book and finished on Book on CD. My kids and I have been thoroughly enjoying the audiobook (read by Stockard Channing) of this one as well - so funny! ' I enjoyed the Ramona books as a little girl, but I think I like them even more from an adult perspective. Overall Performance: Narration Rating: Story Rating:.The only funny part was whenever Beezus was making a salad she put carrots in them and Ramona looked at them then she sighed with relief that the carrots were blood- free because usually Beezus cuts her finger. 'I thought Ramona and her Mother was good book. Readers ages 6-12 will laugh along with and relate to Ramona's timeless adventures. No matter what, she'll always be her mother's little girl…right?
